Fudd Arms Active Reset Safety Selector (ARSS)

Give your AR-15 safety selector a third mode. The ARSS offers Safety, Semi (standard single-shot), and Full-Semi, a third position that engages your trigger group and mechanically resets it between shots, so your follow-up trigger pulls come faster. It's a solid alternative to a full trigger swap if you want more speed without replacing your whole fire control group.

It's a drop-in part, swap your factory safety in minutes, no gunsmith required for most setups (some fitment work may be needed depending on your build).

Firearm Requirements

• Low-shelf or full-profile trigger pocket lower receiver
• Full-profile BCG
• H2 or H3 buffer
• A trigger from the compatibility list below

Compatibility Note: Some platforms, AR9 builds in particular, may need a gunsmith's help to get the selector lever running right.

Triggers cut to "Super Safety" spec WILL NOT WORK with ARSS parts, since our system uses a solid lever-cam design. The Super Safety setup runs about 15 degrees of tolerance from its dovetail construction, which can let the cam surface slip off the trigger bar before it should.

Selector Screw & Torque: T10 screw, 4/40 thread, with selector spring. Torque to 15 in/lbs using blue Loctite only.

Note: The ARSS does not currently fit AR-10 (LR308)/SR-25 platforms without major gunsmithing. A version built for these platforms is on the way.
